The Dessert Wine Course will give you a basic introduction to wine tasting from identifying aromas to understanding acidity and sweetness levels so that you are equipped with the tools to perfectly match the different desert wines with food.

There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask any wine-related questions you may have during the course.

Which wines should one order in a restaurant? Which wines should be drunk young and which get better after a few years in bottle?  Where can we find value for money? If you enjoy these heavenly delights, our Dessert wine workshop is for you.

WHAT IS THE AIM OF THE DAY?

You will gain a better understanding and knowledge of the Dessert wine styles around the world and how to perfectly pair them with food.  You will also develop your skills and confidence as a wine taster.

We will serve a selection of cheeses, sweet and savory canapes to match the different Sweet Wine Styles and demonstrate the best food matches.  At least 8 Wines will be tasted.
