This Official Champagne Specialist Wine Course Program is aimed at students, wine merchants, sommeliers, food distribution professionals, restaurant professionals, executives/ buyers/salespeople in the wine and spirits industry, professionals in the wine industry, tourism professionals, wine journalists, importers, wine trainers, students in the hotel and restaurant industry and in the luxury industry, as well as anyone with a curiosity and passion for champagne.
Course Objectives
- Understanding and interpreting Champagne wine labels.
- Describing and assessing Champagne wines.
- Knowing how to store and serve Champagne wines in optimal conditions.
- Being able to recommend a Champagne wine by ascertaining a customer’s expectations and requirements and then making a range of proposals suited to their request.
- Pairing food and Champagne wines.
What Prior Knowledge is expected?
- Prior to starting the course, it is advised that students complete the Champagne MOOC , (contact us for more details) as well as reading the student course booklet (7 hours preparation)
