About the course
Are you new in town, or looking to meet other like minded guests in a social and interactive setting, in a safe and welcoming setting? Then why not come along to one of our Singles Tastings where you will meet other friendly folk just like you.
Discover the art of Wine and Cheese Matching and how to prepare the perfect cheese board whilst also getting to know your fellow guests. Ideal for those who love entertaining at home or in restaurants. Or indeed simply love wine and cheese!
What will I learn?
- You’ll get to grips with the principles of wine and cheese matching, through sipping and nibbling your way through the seven wines and matching cheeses.
- We’ll give you a basic introduction to wine tasting from identifying aromas to understanding tannin levels so that you are equipped with the tools to match wines with cheese.
What is the format of the event?
- This is a stand-up event, ideal for mingling. There will be some icebreakers and introductions at the start, followed by 5 different wines and cheeses. Finish the session with tea/coffee and petit fours. Some seating around the room will be provided.

This is a sociable, stand-up tasting format, ideal for groups of friends and colleagues looking to learn and taste wine in a more informal setting. You will have the opportunity to mingle and move between guests during the evening (free-flow), compared to our other seated wine tastings.
Yes, a selection of cheese/charcuterie will accompany the wines.
