ABOUT THIS COURSE

WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE THIS WINE TASTING COURSE IN LONDON?

Compared to the New World, the European Old World Wine Regions can sometimes seem shrouded in myth, tradition and mystery. Want to know the difference between Bordeaux and Burgundy? Don’t like Chardonnay but like Chablis? Intimidated by gothic German labels? Tormented by Tempranillo? Struggling with Sangiovese? Baffled by terroir, millisimes and appellations? Our European Old World Classic Regions Course will guide you through the classic wines of France, Germany, Italy and Spain in plain English.

History, famous regions, rising stars, grapes and other key ponts will be covered. Our plain-speaking tutors will help dispel the mystery that often enshrouds the great regions of the Old World. They will also pass on insider tips to help you avoid expensive mistakes and point you in the direction of the Old world regions that can still offer amazing value for money. We will teach you how to become a European Classics Regions expert during our one day course.

Nick’s Level 1 course was outstanding!

Although many of us had different levels of knowledge and experience with wine, we all enjoyed participating in the course and felt that we learned a great deal of content and confidence through Nick’s instruction. Nick’s considerable wine making knowledge and experience as well as his practical guidance helped us to work through evaluating various aspects of each wine.

At the end of the course, we all agreed that the course was excellent, Nick was a fantastic instructor, and that we looked forward to Level 2!
