WEEK 2 White Wines around the World
You will taste a diverse range of whites wines and will learn about the effects of oak, soil and climate on the taste of each wine. You will also understand how Chardonnay can be the best and worst grape variety in the world!
WEEK 3 Red Wines around the World
We start with Bordeaux styles from around the world made from the famous Cabernet/Merlot blend. Bordeaux used to be unchallenged as the finest region for red in the world. The second half of the tasting looks at other key grapes including Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo and Grenache.
WEEK 4 Sparkling Wine & Champagne
Champagne is probably the most famous wine in the world, but does it really live up to the hype? We taste the real thing, some of its imitators and and other exciting sparkling wines that are not trying to be Champagne at all!
