We’ve been extremely fortunate to meet many aspiring wine buffs over the years on our range of wine tasting courses. Here are just a few words from those who have been kind enough to get in touch with what they’ve thought of our courses, venues and of course wine experts.
Nick’s Level 1 course was outstanding!
Although many of us had different levels of knowledge and experience with wine, we all enjoyed participating in the course and felt that we learned a great deal of content and confidence through Nick’s instruction. Nick’s considerable wine making knowledge and experience as well as his practical guidance helped us to work through evaluating various aspects of each wine.
At the end of the course, we all agreed that the course was excellent, Nick was a fantastic instructor, and that we looked forward to Level 2!
I enjoyed the course immensely…
Yes I would travel all over london for the courses. The tutor whose name i have forgotten (pardon my ignorance) was from NZ and he was great. He got the points over easily and was clear and concise. The food was superb (i will visit again). I actually wanted the course to carry on. I think the course is good value for money and has given me a new confidence with wine. In your questionaire I have nothing bad to say to. All i can say is, keep up the good work and please keep me informed of offers on courses.
We just finished the Beginners Four Week Wine O’ Clock Webinar Course and it was a lot of fun and really good value for money. The wines were so interesting and really opened our eyes to new styles. I was a bit hesitant to join an online wine course, but I have to say it was very social, interactive and certainly the highlight of our lockdown. We feel that we have made some new friends with the rest of the people on our course and can’t wait to meet up with everyone for that promised reunion.

I was given a gift voucher to attend the Food and Wine Matching Course at Lindsay House last Saturday and just wanted to extend my thoughts to you, in no particular order.
I thought the course was absolutely fantastic — one of the best things I’ve been to, done or seen this year. The wine expert, Dawid, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and had a terrific sense of fun, demystifying as he agrandised his subject. Food was varied, interesting and definitely not for vegetarians — which is a good thing, but perhaps less so for veggies?! The wines themselves were thoroughly enjoyable, great to learn the history and appreciate the tastings without any snobbery.
A great occasion to meet others with differing backgrounds but similar interests.
I work for two food magazines (Sainsbury’s and delicious) and have already recommended your site to colleagues. So, many thanks for organising the day, I have already raved about it to friends.
A truly fascinating and utterly entertaining day!
My friend and I attended the food and wine matching course at the Lindsay House last Saturday (14th March). I have to tell you it was a truly fascinating and utterly entertaining day! Dawid Koegelenberg is a real character and provided a wonderful show for us. He made everyone feel so welcome and comfortable and I certainly feel I know considerably more about wine now than I did before I attended the day. The food was completely delicious – Dawid and Richard Corrigan and his wonderful chef are to be congratulated for creating and producing such a fabulous menu.
I now intend to go on one of your further courses to learn even more about wine. Thank you for putting on a wonderful day – I am recommending it to all my friends.
One of the best dining experiences I have had
Wine and Food Matching at Corrigan’s Mayfair – It was a present – but one of the best dining experiences I have had – very very good. David was excellent. My job is in training and I don’t think I’ve seen better. I genuinely couldn’t fault anything.

The food and wines were excellent…
Having attended the Italian Food and Wine matching workshop on 5th June I would like to say that we enjoyed the occasion very much. The food and wines were excellent but what made the occasion was the expertise of the course presenter who was not only exceedingly knowledgeable but had a very relaxed and enjoyable presentation.

A really wonderful time…
I can tell you that we had a really wonderful time at the Italian food & wine workshop – it was like a mini-holiday! The wines & food were delicious, the presenter well-informed but very approachable, the pace of the day was perfect and the seating arrangements in tables of six was just right to allow easy conversation.

Very enjoyable atmosphere…
Course Tutor was excellent. The anecdotal input really helped to bring the history of the Bordeaux region to life. Very enjoyable atmosphere and loads learned.
